• This beautiful low growing perennial herb is a relative of the larger peppermint and spearmint. The flavour is similar but much stronger than other mints.
•Unlike other mints it doesn’t die down in winter but instead looks beautiful year-round.
•Will grow in full sun (with enough water) but does very well in part shade.
•It is wonderful in tea and cold drinks or can be eaten raw.
•It prefers a moist semi shaded position (like its native riverbank habitat).
•It grows to approximately 30cm high and can spread up to about a meter.
•It is very well suited to growing in pots partially submerged in water.
